1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Coenie Ackermann, operating as Solexilla ("Solexilla", "we", "us").

By using this website or submitting information through it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. What Solexilla is, and what it isn't

What it is. Solexilla helps people find the right attorney or representative for a Social Security disability claim. We ask a few short questions, work out who fits your situation, and make the introduction. We only work with attorneys and representatives who handle these claims as a real part of their practice, who take cases at your stage of the process, and who have capacity to take you on. If we don't have the right person for you, we will tell you rather than pass you to whoever is available. The service is free to you.

What it isn't. The matching is the whole service, and there are hard limits on it: see Section 7 on outcomes.

3. Who can use this

You may use this site only if you are 18 or older and located in the United States.

We do not accept submissions from residents of Colorado or California.

If you don't meet these conditions, please don't submit anything.

4. What you're confirming when you submit

When you submit our form, you confirm that:

Submitting someone else's contact details without their permission is a misuse of this service and may breach the law. Don't do it.

5. How we're paid

The attorney or representative we connect you with pays us a referral fee. That's how Solexilla makes money, and it's why the service is free to you.

We are paid for the referral itself, not for the outcome of your claim. Our fee doesn't depend on whether your claim succeeds, and it doesn't come out of anything you receive.

6. About the attorneys and representatives

The attorneys and representatives we refer people to are independent. They are not our employees, partners or agents.

We don't control them, supervise them, or take responsibility for their work. Anything you agree with them is between you and them, including any fees.

We don't endorse any particular attorney or representative, and being referred to one is not a recommendation that you hire them. Check their credentials and make your own decision.

You are never obliged to work with anyone we refer you to.

7. What we promise, and what we can't

What we promise is the part we control: that we will try to match you with an attorney or representative who is right for your situation and who meets the standards in Section 2, that the service is free to you, that we won't sell your details to marketing lists or data brokers, and that we'll tell you honestly if we don't have the right person rather than passing you to whoever is available.

What we cannot promise is any outcome on your claim, and neither can anyone else. Your claim is decided by the Social Security Administration.

We make no promise, guarantee or prediction that you qualify for benefits, that a claim or appeal will succeed, how long anything will take, how much anyone might receive, or that any attorney or representative will agree to take your case.

8. Contact and how to stop it

By submitting the form you consent to be contacted as set out at the point of submission and in our Privacy Policy.

You can stop this at any time by replying STOP to any text, replying to any email, or contacting us at hello@solexilla.com. We'll act on it promptly. The attorney or representative we referred you to is separately responsible for honouring your request to them.

9. Using the site properly

Don't use this site to break the law, submit false information, submit other people's details without permission, interfere with the site or its security, scrape or copy it by automated means, or impersonate anyone.

We can refuse service or block access at any time, for any reason.

10. Our content

The Solexilla name, logo, text, design and layout belong to us and are protected. Don't copy or reuse them without written permission.

11. The site is provided as it is

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, that the information on it is complete or current, or that any referral will produce any particular result.

12. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

Our total liability to you for anything connected with this service will not exceed USD $100.

Some states don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.

13. Disputes

Read this section. It affects how disputes get resolved.

Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and not as part of a class or representative action.

You waive the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in a class action.

You may opt out of this section by writing to hello@solexilla.com within 30 days of first using the site. Opting out does not affect the rest of these terms.

14. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 13 — for example if you are a resident of an excluded state under Section 3 — you agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over that dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

16. If part of this is unenforceable

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
